Hope Rising (originally called VDAY McKinney) filed for and became incorporated with the State of Texas in June 2013. and achieved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service in 2014 enabling us to continue the work we started with the premiere of The Vagina Monologues in McKinney in 2013.

Our mission is to assist the organizations in Collin County that work to eliminate sexual and domestic violence.
